The bone elephant remained seated beneath the tree, unmoving. Not long after, he heard a rustling sound from the peach blossom forest. It sounded as if something was approaching.
After a while, Han Sen saw a pink snake slithering towards the giant peach blossom tree. Then, it settled down beneath the tree.
From another direction, a blue creature that looked like a tiger or a leopard was approaching. It, too, lay down beneath the tree.
A crane with white feathers flew across the sky. It did not dare to land on the branch, but rather, like the other creatures, it landed beneath the tree.
Not long after, a black bear brought a newborn cub to the peach blossom tree.
All of a sudden, many creatures appeared beneath the peach tree. Han Sen was shocked by the sight. The creatures that were able to reach such a place were definitely not ordinary, and they were most likely super creatures.
Han Sen did not know why they were there, and he wondered if the peach blossom tree had some special effect on them.
As Han Sen pondered this, the silver fox jumped out of Zero's arms and walked towards the peach blossom tree.
Han Sen was shocked. He thought the peach blossom tree had some sort of mesmerizing effect on the creatures. But after a few steps, the silver fox turned around and gestured to Han Sen. It seemed as if the fox was asking him to come with him.
Han Sen hesitated. Although he did not feel any danger, the creatures were scary. If he went, he would be killed.
But the silver fox gestured to him again. Even if the creatures noticed the silver fox, they did not do anything. They did not even look in Han Sen's direction.
After the silver fox gestured again, Han Sen gritted his teeth and slowly walked towards the peach blossom tree.
Han Sen walked slowly and carefully. If the creatures acted strangely, he would turn around and run.
But Zero was already walking towards the silver fox. The creatures should have been able to see them, but they did not attack them. They just lay down beneath the tree.
Han Sen followed the silver fox to the peach blossom tree. He chose a place to lie down. Aside from the bone elephant and the two bears, the silver fox was the closest to the peach blossom tree.
Two meters away from Han Sen was the black bear. Although it was not as big as the bone elephant, it was still ten meters tall. It lay there like a giant truck, and Han Sen could hear its breathing clearly.
Aside from the silver fox, this was the first time Han Sen had been in such close proximity to a creature. It made him feel very strange, as none of the creatures seemed to want to attack him.
It was as if all the creatures had become peace-loving animals. No matter what race they were, they all lay down under the peach blossom tree.
The silver fox was lying on the ground covered in petals. It closed its eyes and breathed slowly, as if it had a special rhythm. Han Sen had seen this before. Every time Han Sen practiced the Dongxuan Sutra, he would wake up and see the silver fox in this state.
It was the same with the other creatures. Although they were all lying there quietly, each of them had their own unique rhythm.
"Does this peach blossom tree have some special effect on my practice?"
Han Sen wondered. After a while, he sat on the ground and tried to practice the Dongxuan Sutra.
As soon as he started, Han Sen felt as if the Dongxuan Sutra had absorbed some energy into his body. The Dongxuan Sutra became happier, as if it was responding to something.
"It is indeed special."
Han Sen continued to practice, and his body began to emit a nice fragrance. It combined with the fragrance of the peach blossom and spread everywhere.
When Han Sen finished his cycle, he noticed that his Dongxuan Sutra had improved a lot. He was pleasantly surprised by this.
But when Han Sen looked at the creatures, he was surprised.
Perhaps it was because of the fragrance of the peach blossom, but when Han Sen looked at the silver fox, he could clearly see the energy inside its body. There was still a lot of the fragrance of the Dongxuan Sutra that the silver fox had not yet refined.
Han Sen looked at the other creatures and was even more surprised.
Many of the creatures there seemed to have inhaled the fragrance of the Dongxuan Sutra, but they all behaved differently.
There was the red snake, the blue beast, the crane, and the big black bear. The fragrance was chaotic inside their bodies, and it seeped into their flesh.
But in the black bear cub and the bone elephant, Han Sen could clearly see a pattern of energy. It was similar to the way humans practiced Qi Gong.
"This is not right.
If only certain creatures can practice this way, then the black bear and the bear cub must be of the same race. Why is it that the black bear's fragrance is chaotic, while the bear cub's body has an unimaginable flow of energy? "Han Sen was more and more surprised.
Not long after, the black bear cub and the bone elephant had refined the fragrance. The crane and the red snake were slow to refine it, and Han Sen could still feel the fragrance in their bodies.
Han Sen looked at the gourd in his hand. It was used to inhaling the fragrance of Han Sen's practice, and it had refined it a long time ago.
Han Sen looked at the rest of the creatures and quickly thought of something that made him feel terrified.
Whether it was the silver fox, the cub, or the gourd, Han Sen was not sure. Aside from the bone elephant, the rest of the creatures were the offspring of other creatures. They were not creatures that had been born in the nests of other creatures.
This made Han Sen think of the Golden Howler. Han Sen was not sure about the Golden Howler, but when the Golden Howler died, it left behind a Life Geno essence and a body. It was different.
"If the Golden Howler and the bone elephant are the offspring of other creatures, does that mean the offspring of super creatures are different from other super creatures?" Han Sen guessed.
Thinking of this, Han Sen suddenly understood many things. Why did some super creatures leave behind Life Geno essences, while others left behind a body? If the second or third generation of super creatures could leave behind a body, then there had to be something special about it.
Like the silver fox and the black bear cub, the offspring of super creatures seemed to have some sort of transcendence. They were different from the original super creatures.
